"JOB" Information:
This position is not a paid position. You can use my equipment, however, if you would prefer to use your own that is acceptable. I am working on a show that will focus on being a storm chaser so most of the footage will be me and my team going about our day. I don't care about experience as I believe there needs to be more entry level positions. This position is very straight forward and I can guarantee that you will never see another option like this as regular tornado tour prices commonly range above thousands of dollars.
STANDARD RATES:
Expense provider:
Gas
That's right. Gas. This option can range heavily in price range depending on the chase and location. For example, if this is a local (northern Illinois) chase you may spend less than one hundred dollars. If we go somewhere farther obviously this will cost more. The way in which this is calculated is from the point of when the Expense Provider gets into the vehicle at pickup location to when the Expense Provider is dropped off.
Donator:
This option is for the generous person. I am not offering this service for a living, or even to make rent. I simply love storms and have a passion for storm chasing. The base pay is Expense Provider, however, if you are generous enough to pay more than that it is greatly appreciated. Your name will also be painted with the color of your choice onto the exterior of the vehicle no matter the size of the donation.

What is Freedom Storm?
My project is to show the life of a dedicated group of storm chasers. Our goal is to show what chasers actually go through during the course of a full season. There have been a few shows following chasers already however they primarily just show the outcome of a good storm chase. My show would not only just take you through a season chasing but the problems of being a low-income chaser. Most big shows like “Storm Chasers” or “Tornado Hunters” have massive budgets with crazy vehicles, but my team does not. A failed few chases in a row or enough breakdowns can end our season early so the suspense and genuine stress of being successful definitely shines through.
The format I would like to follow is from the start of a day in tornado alley all the way through the end of the day. A day typically starts with the night before, driving hundreds of miles to get to the designated area severe weather is likely. Next is actually waking up at or near your chase area doing the typical morning routine. With the updated weather models in the afternoon a chaser must position themselves in the best spot, if you mess up here you likely won't catch any storms. The rest of the episode really depends on how the chase plays out, each chase will be different, some days you will have no tornado or even no storm and other days you can be yards away from a tornado ripping through a town.
